Bladez treadmill review
Bladez home treadmills are not as well known as other brands.  However if you've ever seen those TV treadmills in a health club, it may well have been a Bladez.

Bladez home treadmills are produced by Bladez Fitness - part of the Bladez Corporation.

The Bladez Corporation also makes gas and electric scooters and personal mobility vehicles as well as ellipticals and exercise bikes.

They produce 3 lines of treadmills:

Strengths:

#1)  Built-In TVs - Many Bladez models come with built in TV's which is one of the main reason these treadmills get people's attention.

Bladez is known for their innovation and they were one of the first brands to put TV's into their units.

Some of their TV treadmills have adjustable angles which is great features for multiple users of different heights. From the Bladez treadmills we've tried at health clubs, the picture quality is excellent.

However it should also be noted that many brands like Nordic track and Smooth are now putting TV's into their treadmills as well.

#2)  Sleek, Attractive Consoles - Bladez consoles are well designed attractive units. Even without the TVs, most are bright and easy to read.

We even liked the layouts on the Bladez Ion treadmills (which are the lower end Bladez models).

#3) Decent motors - Many of the motors on these treadmills are 2.0 HP and up, which is decent for the mid-priced class. The higher end commercial grade models step up to 3.0 HP motors which aren't bad but standard among the competition.
Nordic Track Treadmill Ratings:
#4) Strong Warranties - Most Bladez units now come with a lifetime frame and motor warranty, 5 - 10 years on parts and 1-2 years on labor. This is a great warranty and better than most department store treadmills.

Also, many Bladez commercial treadmills come with a great institutional (commercial) warranty of lifetime on the frame, 10 years on the motor, 5 years on parts and 1 year on labor. Compared to many other commercial warranties, this is also excellent.

Weaknesses:

These treadmills are not as well known as other brands.  Because of this, they can be hard to find - and possibly hard to service. In an already overcrowded mid-priced market, Bladez needs to do some serious work to get their brand out there, which may or may not happen.

Also, while we did find one 5 star Bladez treadmill review, there are still very few user reviews out there.  This can make it hard to tell how well the machines hold up over time.

Conclusion:

Bladez home treadmills offer solid treadmill basics like strong motors, excellent warranties and large walking areas.  They also offer some attractive built-in TVs.

However, they are also harder to find and there are very few user reviews at this time. Plus, with other brands like  Nordic track and Smooth adding TV's to their consoles, the interest in Bladez home models may fade.
