Endurance Treadmill Review
Endurance treadmills are manufactured by Body Solid - who began manufacturing strength training equipment in 1981.

Body Solid is well known in the home gym market and has a reputation for making high quality equipment. They're one of the largest suppliers of strength training equipment in North America.

They produce a line of mid-range to high end Endurance home treadmills starting around $1500.

**Note: Several Endurance treadmills have been recalled due to speed control problems - the T7, T7.1, T8 and T9.1. Customers should stop using these treadmills immediately.

Strengths:

#1)  Lifetime Warranty - You really can't get any better than a lifetime warranty. All Endurance home treadmills are covered for all parts for a lifetime (labor is covered for 1 year).

This gives you an idea of the quality of parts used in construction.

#2)  Folding - Most units fold up for easy storage. Most also have wheels on the bottom for ease of movement.

#3) Decent Cushioning - The decks on these treadmills use what BodySolid calls a Suspended Running Surface design supported by a multi-point shock absorption system.

This helps to support your knees, ankles, hips and back while running.

Weaknesses:

Several Endurance home treadmills (the T7, T7.1, T8 and T9.1) have been recalled due to speed control problems. According to the CPSC "The treadmill can unexpectedly accelerate or decelerate, possibly causing the user to lose control and fall." Customers should stop using these treadmills immediately.

The speed ranges on these treadmill only go up to 10 MPH which, for the price, we would have expected at least a 12 MPH top speed. Plus the lower end treadmills T3 and TF3i have a very small 18" x 50" running deck - extremely small for a mid-priced unit.

Overall, when you compare these treadmills to similarly priced models like Sole for example, they just come up short in terms of what you get for the money.

Conclusion:   Not Recommended

Endurance treadmills are manufactured by a heavyweight in the fitness industry with a great reputation for quality construction - Body Solid.

And the fact that they give lifetime warranties on their treadmills does inspire confidence.

However overall, these treadmills don't stack up well against similarly priced brands. And then there are the recall issues which is why we would not recommend an Endurance home treadmill right now.

Alternative brands that give you more: Sole, Nordic Track, Smooth
